Totti: Roma beat Napoli thanks to tactical switch

AS Roma captain Francesco Totti says a tactical switch was responsible for victory over Napoli.

The Giallorossi earned a 3-1 win away to Napoli this evening, but had the rub of the green with an own goal, a lucky ricochet and some counter-attacking football.

“It was a great Roma tonight and we proved we are competitive at a high level,” said the captain.

“We always need to play this way and with the attitude we had against Juventus.

We try to adopt the tactics that Luis Enrique asks of us and take the initiative, even though against sides like Napoli we went a bit deeper so we could go on the counter.”

He can't be thrown in like that. Can you just see Collum being ready to pounce on Izzy's first mistimed tackle due to staleness? He would be in like the rat he is, up a drainpipe. No, Izzy needs to be brought back carefully.
