Totti hits hat-trick in Roma Europa romp
Francesco Totti struck a hat-trick as Roma thumped Gent 7-1 in last night's Europa League qualifier.
“Totti is that player,” grinned coach Luciano Spalletti. “He has quality, those moments that can change a match from free kicks or open play. He is phenomenal.
“Clearly we were aided by the fact Gent had a man sent off before half-time, but this time the team went out on form and concentrated. I’m convinced that, regardless of lucky incidents, we still would’ve taken home the win.”
Totti was inspirational with his treble in Belgium, sending Roma through to the play-offs 10-2 on aggregate.
“The important thing was to go through,” insisted the captain. “It was not an easy game and they were very motivated. Now we can go all the way in this competition, even if there is a long road ahead of us.”

Wat about that magic 7th heaven nite in old trafford.manchester united rip off roma.
Must have reminded Roma of that forgettable night in Old Trafford when THEY were trounced 7-1 by Man United.
even if it was a weak team, they won't just lay down and let you score the hat trick...
they will still tackle as hard and make you suffer...
