Totti was said to be in favour of his arrival, but the capital captain has dismissed such an hypothesis.
“I haven’t heard from Cassano for a lifetime,” the No 10 told the Corriere dello Sport on Thursday.
“There has been no contact for a while and I don’t even have his mobile phone number. I wouldn’t ring him to call him back to Rome.
“It’s now time for something to be made clear – I’m no longer getting involved in questions about the transfer market.
“It has absolutely nothing to do with me. There are directors at this club who deal with these matters.”
