AS Roma are celebrating a double signing coup over Juventus today. Roma trumped Juve for AC Milan striker Marco Borriello, while Inter Milan defender Nicolas Burdisso chose Roma ahead of the Bianconeri, says Gazzetta dello Sport.
Money was the decisive factor in both cases, while a call from Francesco Totti to Borriello swung the striker's deal in Roma's favour.
Milan also agreed to cover the shortfall in Borriello's agreement as part of their good relationship with Roma.
