Gylfi Sigurdsson is happy for former Tottenham teammate Gareth Bale over his move to Real Madrid.
The Spurs midfielder believes Bale will be relieved to see the switch finally complete.
"It's probably a relief for him, I think," said Sigurdsson. "The players aren't thinking too much about this but it's great for him to join one of the world's biggest clubs.
"I hope he does well there, but we've got some players instead for the money he brought in so hopefully we can reach that Champions League spot.
"He's a great player with a lot of pace and sharpness, and I just hope he starts doing well as soon as possible and fits right in."
