Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko admits he asked coach Juande Ramos why he was hooked for Sunday's 0-0 draw with Wigan Athletic. He said: "I've actually been in London itself only one time. And it was late at night, I went to a restaurant for dinner. I don't have time to walk around the city.
"At the first the traffic driving on the left hand side confused me a lot. Once, when I was crossing a road I was looking at another side, and a car almost knocked me down."
The Russian also revealed he visited Spurs manager Ramos at home, to ask why he had been substituted.
"I asked him what I had done wrong. He said it wasn't because I was not playing well enough, it was just a decision to change tactics. He told me not to bother my head with stuff like that.
"He told me about [Cristiano] Ronaldo, who simply couldn't play during the first five games he was here, because he didn't feel at home."
