Tottenham's £14million summer signing Roman Pavlyuchenko is in hot water.
According to Zhizn weekly newspaper in Russia the striker is under investigation by Russian police after allegedly smashing a fan's camera in central Moscow last week.
The fan had been taking pictures of the 6ft 2in star while the national squad were preparing for their World Cup qualifier at home to Wales last week. Russia defeated the Welsh 2-1.
The hotel was reportedly besieged by fans and girls hoping to meet the players.
Pavlyuchenko allegedly lost his temper and smashed a camera belonging to one young fan before handing it back and storming off, according to reports in Zhizn.
Police sources said: "If found guilty Pavlyuchenko will have to pay a hefty fine."
