Tottenham ace Scott Parker has suffered a fresh injury setback.

The Sunday Mirror says Parker is now set to be absent until the end of next month - which means he will miss key Premier League clashes against Chelsea, ­ Manchester City and Arsenal as well as three Europa League matches.

Parker had ­surgery on an Achilles ­tendon injury after finishing his tour of duty with England at Euro 2012.

The problem was identified before the squad left for Poland and Ukraine but Parker - who will be 32 on Saturday - ­insisted that the operation be postponed until after the tournament.
