Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric has reportedly NOT apologised for going AWOL last week.
The Telegraph says he will continue to train alongside Steven Pienaar, who is also set to leave the club, although his expected move to Everton has stalled, rather than fly out to join up with the rest of the tour.
Sources close to Modric are insistent that he has not, as has been indicated, apologised for his behaviour which has been branded unprofessional by Spurs head coach Andre Villas-Boas and angered chairman Daniel Levy who have taken a principled stance on the saga.
Instead Modric is himself believed to be angry with Spurs and believes that because of the prospect of his move to Real Madrid, he wasn't expected to go on the tour.
