Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas remains hopeful of going to the World Cup with England.
Jenas realises he needs to hit top form as Fabio Capello prepares to name his England squad for the friendly with Brazil.
Jenas, who has not started for the Three Lions since February 2008, said: "It's difficult because midfield is probably the strongest part of the England team.
"But it's important I keep playing the way I am for Spurs. Other teams look at us as a threat and as a team that can reach the top four.
"My dream is to make it into the Champions League and then get on that plane to South Africa. It's pretty simple."
