Tottenham's young defender Phil Ifil is already thinking about life after football.

"I think about life after football quite regularly, actually," Ifil said. "I'd like to get into something like owning a restaurant."

So what about helping out the chef by whipping up some tasty treats? "The first time I cooked a meal it was pancakes on Pancake Day and they were shocking!" he added.

And he revealed his culinary expertise has not got any better when asked the last time cooked a meal as he added: "Do ready meals count? No? Then never!"
