Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddleston insists former club Derby County can beat the drop.

"I think what Billy Davies achieved with Preston North End and then getting Derby into the Premier League shows what a good manager he is," said Huddlestone. "I don't see any reason why he can't keep Derby in the division.

"He's got the managerial skills to keep them up. Billy did a wonderful job last year, especially in the play-offs. On limited resources, he got them into the Premier League.

"The results might not show it but they've had a good start to the season. Hopefully, they'll be fine at the end of the season."
