Tottenham defender Chris Gunter is delighted Wales teammate Aaron Ramsey won his move to Arsenal in the summer.

"I'm very pleased for him," Gunter told The Sun. "I know our clubs are big rivals and it's a bit like Cardiff and Swansea but it was a great move for him.

"He definitely earned it and I think he'll be a major success there.

"I think it'll take him a few months before he has really settled in down here.

"I can appreciate how long that takes and he is a couple of years younger than me too.

"He has also gone to a big club but once he is settled, he'll force his way in to their team and do really well."
