Tottenham defender Chris Gunter says former Cardiff City teammate Aaron Ramsey is ready to make a Premiership move.
Ramsey, 17, looks like being the next Wales youngster to launch himself into the top flight, with the prospect of a £10million move to Manchester United being mooted.
Arsenal and Liverpool are also thought to be interested, but Champions League winners are believed to be leading the chase.
"Aaron has a decision to make but whichever club he goes to, he is going to improve and at his age that is what he needs to do," Gunter said. "In terms of the young players I have worked with, he is the best I have seen and if he was at Spurs he would be very close to the first team.
"I have known him since he was nine and he has always played above his age group and not looked out of place.
"If he does make the move to the Premier League I do not think it will be long before he is playing week in and week out, because he is the sort of player who is capable of achieving anything he wants to."
