Tottenham's Gilberto: I feel good

Though he is valiantly attempting to stay positive, Gilberto wasn't all smiles after his terrible error in the Uefa Cup on Thursday night gifted PSV Eindhoven a precious win to take home to Holland.

The ex Hertha Berlin star had suffered a calf injury immediately after making his protracted transfer to the London side and his first contribution as a Tottenham player was to attempt a suicidal dribble out of the back, only to cough up possession to Jeffersson Farfan, who promptly dispersed the ball into the corner for the 34th minute winner.

"I dribbled and thought that Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate were behind me, but he (Farfan) was then alone," Gilberto explained. "It was so disappointing and I feel sad for the team.

"However, we play this tie over 180 minutes and this was the first match, we now play the second leg and the team can still win."

"I'm happy because I played my first match but unhappy because we lost," the 31-year-old added.

"For me, apart from the goal, I feel good. I played a match at home, I enjoyed it and my injury felt okay. I had no problems. I've been out for a month and I've played with no problems, so that's positive."
