Tottenham's Ghaly suffers knee injury

Hossam Ghaly's hopes of securing a move away from Tottenham could well be dashed by a knee injury.

The midfielder, who appears to have no future at White Hart Lane, damaged ligaments during Egypt's win over Malawi on Sunday.

The 27-year-old limped from the field following a collision with a Malawi defender and has been informed that he will be sidelined for three months.

"I tore knee ligaments," the 27-year-old told FilGoal.

"Doctors say I will be out for three months, but I hope it would not hinder my chances of finding a new club."
