Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe is backing Aaron Lennon to give Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra a touch-up tonight.

Lennon was England's star man against Croatia in the 5-1 win at Wembley on Wednesday.

And the winger gave left-back Evra a roasting when they faced each other in last season's Carling Cup final, which United won.

Defoe said: "Evra's a fantastic player but when Aaron's playing with the ball at his feet, he's very difficult to play against."
