Tottenham striker Peter Crouch was pleased with his England brace in their victory over Belarus.
Crouch has started in just three of Capello's 20 matches as England boss - and scored in all of them. But even he is not getting his hopes up for next month's World Cup warm-up against Brazil in Qatar.
Crouch admitted: "I don't expect to start the next game. That's up to the manager.
"But whenever I come in I feel I do a job and don't let anyone down, so hopefully I'll get a game. Sometimes it's difficult to get involved in the game but you're always going to have chances in this England side and I'm just pleased I put two away.
"It was very enjoyable. It is good to finish the qualifying campaign on a winning note at Wembley and take that into the World Cup. Personally, I was pleased to get a couple of goals.
"Have I given the manager a bit of food for thought? Yes. All I can do when given an opportunity is to try to take it.
"But we have got some fantastic competition for places - certainly in the striking area - and all I can do is to score goals."
