Darren Bent is confident of establishing a strong strike-partnership with new Tottenham forward Roman Pavlyuchenko.
Bent said: "Everyone saw what he was capable of in the Euros and, hopefully, he can bring his energy and passion for the game to Tottenham.
"We've not really had time to get to know each other. We've only trained together for a few days because of the international break.
"We've got plenty of time now to work on our partnership and there are some positive signs. He's a willing runner, which means I haven't got to do all the running.
"He's also a strong guy and will take a load off my back.
"He speaks no English, but it's not a problem because football is a universal language and he knows what he's doing. He's a top player and he will make it easier for me.
"There's no reason why we can't click together."
