Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson is hopeful Alex Pritchard will return to the Championship club from Tottenham and complete his loan spell. The 20 year old is back at White Hart Lane receiving treatment after damaging ankle ligaments during Posh's 2-1 home victory over Leicester last weekend.
He is expected to be out for six weeks but Ferguson has his fingers crossed that he will resume his loan.
"There's a possibility of getting him back," Ferguson said.
"Tottenham are going to give him an injection that will hopefully speed up the recovery.
"It would be good to get him back, he's come on in both games and done quite well."
