Tottenham youngster Livermore happy with Leeds choice

Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore is delighted with his loan move to Leeds United.

Livermore, who was on loan at Ipswich earlier in the campaign, believes that Leeds can go up and is pleased to have joined the cause in West Yorkshire.

"It's what you play football for, the big games, and I want to help," he told the club's official website.

"There were a few clubs interested, but Leeds is a massive club with a massive fanbase and a good set of lads and I want to do my best to help them.

"There's eight games left, they're all cup finals and if we can't do it automatic, there's the play-offs."

He added: "Leeds are doing well and fighting for something which is good.

"I spoke to Aaron (Lennon), Danny Rose and Jonathan Woodgate who only had positive things to say about the place."
