Andros Townsend was left to ponder a very proud moment after helping England qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
The 22-year old Tottenham winger, in just his second international appearance, played 86 minutes of the Three Lions' 2-0 win over Poland on Tuesday night which saw the country book their ticket to the finals in Brazil next year.
Townsend took to Twitter to describe how he was feeling after a monumental night for English football.
Great win tonight! Can't believe I've played a part in helping my country getting to a World Cup!! #getin#imustbedreaming — andros townsend (@andros_townsend) October 15, 2013
