Former Tottenham Hotspur star Micky Hazard believes that Dele Alli is destined to do great things.
19-year-old Alli has enjoyed a sensational breakthrough season with Spurs and the young midfielder continued his great run of form by finding the back of the net in the 3-0 victory over Norwich City on Tuesday night.
Hazard has been very impressed by what he has seen of former MK Dons ace Alli this season and has backed the teenager to scale greater heights in the future.
Speaking to ESPN, Hazard said: "What I love about Dele Alli is his incredible confidence in his own ability, He's walked into Tottenham Hotspur - a massive jump from where he was - and it's like he was born to be there, born to do the things he does.
"He does things that make you think: 'Wow.' His goal at Palace was absolutely incredible. To even think of that was incredible, and to produce it was amazing.
"He's a combination of players. He's a [Glenn] Hoddle and a [John] Wark. He ghosts into goal-scoring positions and he's capable of hitting that telling pass -- not quite as regularly as Glenn, but he's capable. He's got a big future."
