Tottenham have not yet made an approach for Bayern Munich's Mario Gotze.

The Daily Mail suggests that contrary to reports, Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs haven't made contact with Bayern regarding the potential summer transfer of the 24-year-old.

German publication Bild recently indicated that Gotze's father Jurgen had twice met with Spurs officials earlier this summer but the North Londoners are yet to formalise their interest with the Bundesliga giants themselves.

Gotze's former club Borussia Dortmund, as well as Liverpool, have been linked with the Germany international during the current transfer window as his future at the Allianz Arena continues to look clouded following the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti as manager.
