Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will not accept a loan move for winger Andros Townsend according to the Daily Mail.
Newcastle United made an attempt to sign the 24-year-old but was quickly shut down by Levy, who does not want to jeopardise Townsend's transfer fee, which is currently valued by Spurs at £14million.
The Englishman desperately wants a move away from White Hart Lane after finding himself on the outer of Mauricio Pochettino's side.
However, it appears as though Levy does not want him to depart temporarily and would rather sell for a nice sum this month which the Magpies are reportedly not too keen on.
