Tottenham winger Andros Townsend wasn't surprised by Newcastle United's victory at Manchester United.

Townsend sees Newcastle as a top six contender.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "Any team from first to eighth can challenge if they put a run together.

"Newcastle are in good form.

"They are on a good run.

"They are beating the big sides and they beat us as well."
