Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon will undergo a sprints session today to test his groin injury.
Lennon had originally targeted Spurs' FA Cup matches against his old club, Leeds United, to return to first-team action, but suffered a further setback in February.
With the World Cup now just 10 weeks away, Lennon has been out for more than three months and has yet to kick a ball in training.
Spurs have just eight more matches - and a potential FA Cup final - for Lennon to return to fitness and impress England boss Fabio Capello, who is already short of options on the right side of midfield following David Beckham's achilles injury.
