Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon is convinced his form warrants an England recall.
Lennon said: "For the past few years people have spoken about Theo (Walcott), Shaun Wright-Phillips and myself getting that position on the right but none of us have done enough to seal it yet.
"Now is the time, but it's going to be difficult because Beckham is still around. I want his place but as a young player I am still happy he's in the squad. Hopefully I can learn some things from him.
"I am trying to improve all aspects of my game - crossing, finishing, link-up play, everything. There are times when I rush my final ball.
"Beckham's movement off the ball and the way he reads the game are obviously a lot better than mine. So just watching him and learning is great and he offers little bits of advice that can only improve me."
