Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon is set to win an England recall.

The Daily Mail says Lennon's stunning early-season form looks set to secure him an England recall, with Theo Walcott unlikely to be fit for international duty.

Fabio Capello was at West Ham to see Lennon score Tottenham's winner and complete an electric display last Sunday and plans to be at White Hart Lane to check again on his performance against Birmingham on Saturday.

Walcott is struggling to overcome a side strain and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists he will not be available for England's friendly against Slovenia a week on Saturday against Croatia four days later.

Capello is ready to accept Wenger's point of view if Walcott is not involved at Manchester United on Saturday.
