Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon is delighted to be back in the England squad.
Lennon said: "I feel I'm a different player to the one who signed for Spurs back in 2005, and different still from the Aaron Lennon of a year ago.
"Football is all about getting the mental and physical sides right, but it's only when those two elements come together that you really get the idea that you've progressed.
"And over the second half of the campaign in particular it feels like I've stepped up to a whole new level of performance.
"Getting back into the England reckoning has definitely been one of the most pleasing aspects of the season for me.
I had been away from the whole set-up for a while, yet it seemed that everything came together at once - signing a new deal here, being a big part of the Spurs revival, and making my mark again on the international scene."
