Stoke City are fighting Aston Villa for Tottenham winger David Bentley.
The People says Potters boss Tony Pulis is still interested in Tottenham's Bentley, despite the midfielder injuring his ankle in last week's friendly against Bournemouth, ruling him out of action for a month.
But Pulis looks to be fighting a losing battle when it comes to the former Blackburn favourite, who favours a move to Aston Villa.
