Tottenham Hotspur's David Bentley is believed to be in talks with a MLS club regarding a loan move.

MLSsoccer.com has reported that the 27-year old winger, who was recently on loan with West Ham United, is seeking a short-term move to the USA in a bid to kickstart his flailing career.

"This is something that is really interesting for David, as it will also get him fit through the summer," his agent Rob Segal said.

"He would like to go there on loan as soon as possible."
