Tottenham winger Gareth Bale says Wales will always be able to count on him.
Welsh football and the progress of the national team has been blighted by big names withdrawing from squads over the past decade. Manchester United's Ryan Giggs was one star singled out for criticism for picking and choosing when he would play for his country.
Bale, 22, said: "If I'm available I will obviously come. If I'm injured I won't. But it is always an honour to play for your country.
"It is important everyone is available when possible. I am enjoying playing for my country. It feels like we are going somewhere now and it is an enjoyable time."
