Tottenham winger Gareth Bale admits he was happy seeing Arsenal and Wales teammate Aaron Ramsey thumped 8-2 by Manchester United.

The pair joined up for Wales' Euro2012 qualifiers.

And QPR defender Danny Gabbidon explained: "Gareth was quite happy with the result.

"He said it took the pressure off Spurs (who lost 5-1 at home to Manchester City) as Arsenal suffered a heavier defeat."
