Tottenham willing to play long game for Lyon keeper Lloris

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is prepared to play the long game to land Olympique Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

L'Equipe says the deal may drag on until the final days of August unless Tottenham agree to up their original offer.

Lloris is reportedly keen on the move, although he is not prepared to hand in a transfer request to force his exit from Lyon. For the moment, Spurs won't go higher than £11 million for the France No1.

Lyon are seeking £16 million.
