Tottenham are in contact with Villarreal for striker Giuseppe Rossi.

The Italy international has courted interest from Juventus and Inter Milan as he considers his options at Villarreal.

However, Spanish sources say Spurs intermediaries have indicated they're willing to slap in an immediate £10 million offer to bring the former Manchester United and Newcastle United striker back to England.

With Rossi recovering from a knee injury and Villarreal hovering above the dropzone, there's confidence at White Hart Lane the Italian will be made available for an affordable price this summer.
