Tottenham are chasing AS Roma striker Mirko Vucinic.
Vucinic is unsettled in the capital and caretaker coach Vincenzo Montella admitted as much after a disappointing performance in their Coppa defeat to Inter Milan this week.
La Republicca says Vucinic was ready to quit in January and had an offer from Tottenham on the table - only for the move to be blocked by former coach Claudio Ranieri.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp remains keen on the Montenegrin and has a four-year deal worth €10 million still available for Vucinic's camp to consider.
