Tottenham were well below best at Stevenage admits Redknapp

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp admits his side were well below their best in today's FA Cup clash with Stevenage.

Spurs were held to a scoreless draw by the League One outfit at Broadhall Way to force a fifth round replay at White Hart Lane with Redknapp knowing it was going to be a very difficult place to play.

"I expected it to be tough, honestly," said Redknapp.

"I knew how hard it was going to be. The pitch was bumpy and the ball was bobbling everywhere, it was a difficult game to play football.

"We have all been here. I have been here so many times in the past, nothing surprises me.

"I think the lads weren't comfortable with passing the ball that much. We ended up going long, which wasn't what we wanted to do."
