Former Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe will train with his old club during Major League Soccer's close season. The 32 year old left Spurs last February to join MLS side Toronto.
A Toronto spokesperson said: "The training period begins on Thursday and will run for one week."
Spurs added: "We can confirm Jermain Defoe will train with our development squad for the next week to maintain fitness during MLS close season."
Defoe has scored 11 goals in 16 league games for Toronto this season but has been struggling with injuries and has been linked with a return to the Premier League in the current transfer window.
