Tottenham have been tracking Rennes striker Jires Kembo Ekoko leading up to the summer market.

The 24 year-old Zaire international has been a consistent performer for Rennes over the last five years and has been watched by both Spurs boss Harry Redknapp and chief scout Ian Broomfield this season.

Ekoko has just over a year to run on his Rennes deal and the French club are now preparing to invite offers for the striker.
