Tottenham watching Peterborough striker Boyd

Peterborough United striker George Boyd is interesting Tottenham.

The News of the World says Tottenham scouts saw the striker score twice against Scunthorpe - his 126th consecutive Posh game - last month.

Boyd also netted a spectacular effort against Blackburn in the Carling Cup in midweek.

Redknapp would need to find around £6million to get his man - which would give Posh a massive profit on the £260,000 paid to Stevenage Borough in 2007 for the Scotland B international.
