Cruzeiro defender Claudinho has come to the attention of Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp.

The Daily Mail says Tottenham are continuing to scout South America for new talent and are monitoring the progress of promising Cruzeiro defender Claudinho.

Italian sides Udinese and Fiorentina are also understood to be tracking the 21-year-old, who is under contract at Cruzeiro until December 2013 and valued at £6.9m.
