Tottenham are determined to push through a deal for AS Roma winger Erik Lamela.
The Daily Star says the north London club have already splashed out on several key signings this season and have been heavily linked to an audacious deal to bring Lamela to White Hart Lane.
And according to new reports, Spurs have decided to try and land the exciting young starlet, whether or not Real Madrid target Gareth Bale leave this term.
It was thought Lamela could be seen as a natural replacement for the Welsh wizard, but the north London club are keen to reinforce heavily as they make a fresh assault on the top four.
