Leeds United's hopes of signing Tottenham midfielder Milos Veljkovic on loan have hit a snag, with Spurs pushing for a longer loan period.
The Yorkshire Post is reporting Leeds had originally planned to sign Veljkovic on an initial month-long loan, but Spurs had hoped the Serbian would spend six months at Elland Road.
The Premier League club are understood to be seeking guarantees that Veljkovic will be given a certain amount of first-team action at Leeds, which is something the Championship club is not prepared to commit to.
