Tottenham want to close a deal for Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland in the coming days.

Spurs welcomed their first summer signing, Gylfi Sigurdsson, from Hoffenheim yesterday.

Birmingham keeper Butland is next on the Villas-Boas hit list, says the Daily Star.

Spurs have yet to make an offer for the £8m-rated keeper, but hope to have the 19-year-old signed before the Olympics start.
