Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino says the club has to wait to see just how serious Harry Kane's injury is.
The Spurs striker suffered an ankle injury late in his side's 1-0 win over Sunderland at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
Kane scored Tottenham's only goal of the contest with a close range finish just before the hour-mark but later hurt his ankle, sending a major scare through the North Londoners.
"We will assess him tomorrow. It was tough, he twisted the ankle," Pochettino said.
"Now he feels pain and we see tomorrow. It's painful and we need to wait.
"I'm sure there may be a problem with his ligaments but it's difficult to assess today. We need to wait."
