Tottenham unaware of Chelsea interest in Willian

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas says he is none the wiser in regards to interest from Chelsea for their prime target Willian.

The Anzhi Makhachkala playmaker is believed to be on the verge of joining Spurs for a club-record £30million but recent reports suggest that Jose Mourinho's Blues could be set to make a move.

Following Thursday night's 5-0 Europa League playoff qualifier win over Dinamo Tbilisi in Georgia, Villas-Boas said he knew nothing of an outside bid for the former Shakhtar Donetsk ace.

"We were just involved in a game so unfortunately I can't give you further information," he said.

"I confirmed our interest in the player. Everything is possible, but I'm not aware of the circumstances because of our involvement in the (Dinamo) game.

"I don't want it to be a distraction over what we achieved here tonight."
