Tottenham are chasing Le Mans goalkeeper Yoann Pele.
Both Arsenal and Manchester United have been keeping close tabs on Pele, who is widely regarded as one of the best young keepers in Europe.
He's in his third consecutive season at the French club and Tottenham have watched him seven times in recent weeks.
But he is likely to command a hefty price tag because Le Mans have already turned down six offers for the keeper.
Scottish giants Celtic were among a number of European clubs from France, Spain and Italy who have had bids rejected.
Le Mans insist the player, who is under contract for a further three years, is a priceless commodity and it would take a crazy offer to convince them to sell. Arsenal and United ran for cover when they were quoted a fee in the region of £13million.
