Tottenham are eyeing Lazio striker Mauro Zarate.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has made it no secret he is seeking a new striker for the summer market.
While he was priced out of a deal for Villarreal star Giuseppe Rossi, Redknapp has been told he can land Zarate for around £15 million.
Zarate, who had a short stint on-loan at Birmingham City, is similar in style to Rossi and Spurs forward Jermain Defoe.
The Argentine doesn't see eye-to-eye with Lazio coach Edy Reja and would welcome a return to the Premier League this summer.
