Tottenham to try again for West Ham defender Upson

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is eyeing West Ham United defender Matthew Upson.

The Daily Express says if a buyer for the Hammers is not found, manager Gianfranco Zola will be forced to sell players.

West Ham managed to fend off Tottenham's £7m bid for England centre-half Matthew Upson in the summer, but Spurs manager Harry Redknapp is still keen and is poised to return during the January transfer window with a similar offer.
